Tomitomo red Glezes
Often called tomomato by Austrailan potters but is in fact a glaze developed by a Japanese potter Tomitomo San, and brought to Australia by Shigeo Shiga in the mid 1960s, and shared with his studants.
It has a rage of colours from a dusty red to the deep red with iron crystals you see here. It has become one of the favourite glazes of Australian potters.
We stock two different filters:
Doulton Super Sterasyl Filter Recommended for removal of chlorine alumina and bacteria. Generally used on tank or town water without fluoride.
SCP Fluoride Plus™ / UltraCeram is recommended for the removal of everything the Doulton filter plus removes fluoride generally used on town water supply.
BOTH FILTERS HAVE THE CAPACITY TO FILTER ONE LITRE PER HOUR.
